Leakage through the rod seal will not only reduce system performance , but also can contaminate the environment . Rod seals have to be carefully designed taking into consideration all the factors that influence their performance like temperature , pressure , gap extrusion , resistance to process media , low friction etc .
S09 is a single-acting, o-ring energized , low-friction rod seal proven to be ideal in a variety of applications . S09 can be used in tandem installations to provide optimum sealing in high-speed applications . S09 is buffer seal protecting the primary rod seal from high-frequency pressure spikes that might be found in a system .

S10-12 are Vee packs a.k.a Chevron packings . They are multiple-lip seals , usually composed of a male and female adaptor and a group of three or five vee rings .They are popular for sealing rods and pistons in medium to heavy duty applications and are compatible with both single and double acting cylinders .

S20 seals are double acting seals developed to preserve advantages of O-rings in dynamic fluid power applications. They have very good resistance to gap extrusion. S20 meets or exceeds O-ring’s outstanding ability to seal at all pressures and temperatures .
